Abdul Wahed, a well known retail brand in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, had launched its e-commerce store in February 2015. But the company was unhappy with the constant bugs, slow speed and an unimpressive design of its website.
GO-Globe was tasked with fixing technical bugs in the existing website and simultaneously creating a new website for Abdul Wahed.
For creating a new design, the focus was on user engagement and retention.
For this, the web design company developed a bespoke product search module with filters such as price range, category, color, keywords etc to narrow down the user’s search time. It also focused on prominently promoting vouchers, discount coupons, and deals of the day on the homepage to engage users. The site was integrated in both English and Arabic to reach out to maximum users.
The result is a clean, easy to navigate site that makes it easy for users to search for products and encourages them to buy.
